Arla Clark is a Legal Assistant at The Pride Law Firm. She attended California State University of San Marcos, where she received her B.A. in Criminology and Justice Studies. During her junior year of high school, she began working as a legal assistant for a small defense firm in Oceanside, CA. She joined the Pride Law Firm in 2022. In her free time, Arla enjoys spending time with her family, concerts, walking her dogs, bowling, and mini golf.

Why are you choosing to focus on sexual assault?
I developed an interest in helping survivors of sexual assault while taking Justice Studies courses in college.
What is a message you would like to give survivors of sexual assault who are afraid of pursuing their perpetrators in civil court?
Don’t allow the perpetrator to keep you silenced. Take control back and ensure that the attacker does not go unpunished or is able to do the same thing to someone else.
More About Arla
When I was younger, I wanted to become a therapist, but ended up falling in love with the legal field. I have worked on the defense side of cases for 13 years now and switching over to the plaintiff side has been the best career decision I’ve made. There is so much more reward and joy in knowing you are helping others in a time of need.
