Practicing law and pursuing justice is often not something that is easy or fast. I continue to love doing it, though, because my clients – and all of us – deserve access to justice.

Get to Know Zach

Why are you choosing to focus on sexual assault?

I became a lawyer to pursue justice, one case at a time. Yet after spending much of my career working on the defense side with insurance carriers, I realized that this work was without passion. For me, passion comes from helping people – particularly survivors – fight for their rights and get what they deserve.

What is a message you would like to give survivors of sexual assault who are afraid of pursuing their perpetrators in civil court?

Sometimes we all have to face our fears, often just for our own sakes. But in this setting, facing your fear will help others find their strength as well. Justice can only happen when people decide and insist on pursuing it.
