Salem Khattar is an Associate Attorney at The Pride Law Firm. His work is grounded in a global perspective and a deep commitment to justice, advocacy, and empowerment for survivors.

Salem earned his Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and Development from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduation, he moved to Beirut, Lebanon, where he conducted research at the American University of Beirut on sustainable wealth creation and social resilience in developing economies. His work abroad reinforced his passion for advocacy and social impact, ultimately inspiring his path to law.

Salem received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where he excelled in legal writing and advocacy. He served on the Board of the Immigration Law Society, providing pro bono assistance to immigrants and asylum seekers. He was awarded the Walid Taleb Memorial Scholarship and the Lloyd Ellis Griffin Scholarship for his academic excellence and dedication to service.

Salem externed at Jabro Law Group, where he gained experience in family law and personal injury, working on complex and sensitive cases. He later joined Golshani Lee LLP, where he handled a diverse range of civil litigation matters, including catastrophic injury, sexual assault, and international business disputes governed by foreign and international law.

At The Pride Law Firm, Salem is a staunch advocate for survivors. He combines his global development background, legal skill, and empathy to help clients through the legal process with strength and compassion.

Outside of his legal practice, Salem is an art restorer and composer, dedicated to preserving cultural heritage and expressing creativity through music.
