Dante T. Pride is the Founding Partner of The Pride Law Firm in San Diego, California. He attended Morehouse College in Atlanta on a full academic scholarship, where he joined the honors program and earned a place on the dean’s list. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
A passion for advocacy led him to the University of San Diego School of Law. There he excelled in Advanced Trial Advocacy and served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association. He also worked as a certified legal intern at the Office of the Alternate Public Defender, defending indigent clients against charges that ranged from minor misdemeanors to major felonies.
After law school, Mr. Pride joined a prestigious San Diego firm, where he practiced employment and labor litigation. Defending some of the largest companies in the country gave him deep, hands-on experience across every facet of civil litigation. That’s when his true calling came into focus: defending the rights of individuals.
Inspired by his fellow Morehouse alumnus, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Mr. Pride set out to blaze his own trail. He founded The Pride Law Firm on the belief that “Injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere.” Today his practice centers on Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, and Employment Law, and he brings meticulous attention to detail and zealous advocacy to protecting his clients’ rights and rooting out injustice in both state and federal courts.
