Salem Khattar

Salem Khattar is an Associate Attorney at The Pride Law Firm.

His approach is shaped by a global perspective and a deep commitment to justice, advocacy, and empowerment for survivors.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and Development from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduating, he moved to Beirut, Lebanon, where he researched sustainable wealth creation and social resilience in developing economies at the American University of Beirut. That time abroad deepened his passion for advocacy and social impact, and it’s what ultimately drew him to law.

Salem went on to earn his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where he excelled in legal writing and advocacy. He served on the Board of the Immigration Law Society, offering pro bono help to immigrants and asylum seekers. His academic record and dedication to service earned him both the Walid Taleb Memorial Scholarship and the Lloyd Ellis Griffin Scholarship.

As an extern at Jabro Law Group, Salem worked on complex, sensitive matters in family law and personal injury. He later joined Golshani Lee LLP, where he handled a wide range of civil litigation, including catastrophic injury, sexual assault, and international business disputes governed by foreign and international law.

At The Pride Law Firm, Salem is a staunch advocate for survivors. He draws on his global development background, his legal skill, and his empathy to guide clients through the legal process with both strength and compassion.

Away from his legal practice, Salem is an art restorer and a composer, drawn to preserving cultural heritage and expressing creativity through music.
